holiday gift wrap diys

I think my favorite part of gift giving is decorating the package. I'm not into the ribbons and expensive paper, though, are you? My style is more simple and cheap yet stylish. These ideas are all easy to achieve, affordable, creative—and pretty! Now I just need some more gifts to put in these lovely packages.

It's so easy to dress up kraft paper. I like these letter stamps and simple striped ribbon. I've also used gold paint to make my own designs on kraft paper. And you can pair it with any kind of ribbon, really.

Gold spray paint really is your friend here, dressing up some pinecones as ornaments on this gift.

Newspaper is not my favorite look for wrap, but this style is making me take a second look. It feels so fresh and crisp here paired with bold red. The baker's twine is great and the letter tags would be simple to print and cut out.

More kraft paper but it looks so transformed here, thanks to being topped with a snowflake cut from red paper. So clever!

More kraft paper—love all these different looks. These packages feel so vintage, with dried citrus tied up on top. Do you have a favorite look?

I love the bakers twine with the big gift tags. I'm boring and just bought white, silver and gold paper at Ikea. But it will do for now.

Hope you're doing well!

Cute post! I make wrapping paper with the kids using dark Kraft paper like navy, purple, green and red. We dip stamps in a white or silver ink pad and a little white glitter on top. We also use buttons on ink pads to make prints. I've also used the tiny bubble wrap dipped in gold or silver paint, and it makes a beautiful circular pattern. Hope you're well, Case!

Some of my faves for sure. We have similar taste, but I think we have been saying that for a year now :). I really like kraft paper, but wish it wasn't so stiff and would stay taped.

I was always one for getting into the pretty wrappings and ribbons but I've been slacking. I think I may try to get back into it again this year. I do appreciate the simple looks. All of these are definitely resourceful.
