from the idea book: entries, stairs & details

I don't know about you, but all I feel like doing today is looking at pretty pictures. I'm slowing down and ready for the weekend to begin. Time for another installment of scans from my inspiration book. It's been a while!

We're still at the beginning, moving through the house, and so it's all about foyers, stairs, millwork, ceilings, and architectural details. Hope you find some inspiration and pinnable stuff here too. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Oh, they are all fabulous! I do like the stair spindles in the second one and I love that chunky table in the tenth photo - gorgeous!!!

I'm with you - let's just sit and look at pretty pictures all day. I could soak these up for hours.

Happy weekend Casey!

Gorgeous! And, I found an inspiration photo for a client...the one with the white painted ornate bannister, thanks for sharing!

I recognize the first photo. I have it in my inspiration notebook. It's from Country Home, June 2004. I miss Country Home magazine so much. It had a nice modern country style.

Ooo, I love this series because it's so fun to see gorgeous pictures that I've never seen before. I pinned a few. Of course.
Thanks Casey and happy weekend.
