If you can't get your hands on a large enough supply of vintage pressed tin (and that could get very expensive anyway), the big guys—Home Depot and Lowe's—have a good selection of lightweight, easy-to-install lookalikes. You might even consider one of the embossed paintable wallpapers that have a pressed tin design. If it doesn't involve a professional installer, it's more than okay in my book. So what do you say? Yay or nay to pressed tin or lookalikes on the ceiling?
