more and more art walls

I don't know about you, but I could use some eye candy today. Lots of it. I have been thinking quite a bit about art walls and different ways to arrange large collections of frames on the wall. Despite the lack of wall space in my living room, I would like to incorporate some kind of gallery wall in my new living room. Which is your favorite look? Random, staggered, orderly, in a row, keep it minimal or go all out?

Love these! We must be on the same wavelength Casey bc I have folder full of walls for a post and surprisingly none of them are the same. So many great walls out there.

I love gallery walls. I've been collecting gold frames from antique stores all year, my problem-I can't find anything I love to fill them up!

Karen, we are a perfect match, because I am lacking frames! Need to get myself out and thrifting soon.

Dear Casey,

What a great post!

I love art walls! I like an eclectic look -- but with some sort of common ground (b/w photos only, or the same frame, or the same style of art work etc). I like things more organized (perhaps I am boring...Yikes!).

YES to an art wall in your living room. Just do it!

Warm hugs to you,

Mon

Love picture galleries.... I particularly like the pale frames at the top of the staircase....

I love these photos! I think a collection of frames always looks great in a stairwell - that can get neglected so easily.
