tuesday tip: when in doubt, drape

Again I have to ask, what can fabric not do? This room's a prime example of the power of fabric. When faced with an uninspiring, small, plain, or unattractive box of a room, why not just drape it? Fabric can go up a wall (though it's easier if you paper-back or laminate it) and it can hang as a canopy from the ceiling. And voila: instant coziness, character, and color.

Love this idea, and it would be a great solution if you're trying to cover up textured ceilings.
